Build on your foundational knowledge of tactical medicine and develop the skills to deliver life-saving care in hostile and dynamic environments. This intermediate course is designed for individuals with prior medical experience or completion of our Basic Tactical Medicine Course.
Course Overview
TacMed 2 focuses on rapid decision-making, threat awareness, and trauma management under stress, movement, and simulated threat conditions. You'll learn to identify, assess, and manage life-threatening injuries common to first responders, security professionals, and trained civilians. Instruction emphasizes operating under fire, casualty care during movement, and response to mass-casualty incidents.
Mission Focus
Our Intermediate Tactical Medicine course aims to reduce preventable death in high-threat environments by bridging the gap between military combat lifesaving skills and civilian EMS capabilities.

Prerequisites and Requirements
Prior medical experience or completion of our Basic Tactical Medicine Course is required
Weather-appropriate training clothing (old clothing recommended due to simulated blood exposure)

Physical Requirements
This course involves physically demanding tasks, including casualty movement, ground work, and sustained activity during scenario training. You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting, dragging, and carrying weight under stress. If you have medical concerns, please consult your physician prior to enrollment.
