Whether you're new to red dot optics or want to sharpen your skills, this one-day intensive course is designed to help shooters understand the strengths and limitations of slide-mounted red dot systems. We’ll focus on drawing, tracking the dot, target transitions, and overcoming common optic-related challenges in dynamic shooting scenarios.
Required Gear:
Pistol with slide-mounted red dot sight
Handgun and minimum 3 magazines (5 preferred for single-stack pistols)
Magazine carrier to hold at least 3 magazines
Quality holster (no cross-draw or Serpa holsters)
300 rounds of ammunition
Eye and ear protection (electronic hearing protection strongly recommended)
Lunch and water (working lunch)
Weather-appropriate clothing (no open-toed shoes)
Optional (but recommended):
Electronic hearing protection
Gloves
Sunblock
Extra hydration
Field cleaning kit
Basic maintenance tools
Additional magazines and ammunition
