Whether you're new to red dot optics or want to sharpen your skills, this one-day intensive course is designed to help shooters understand the strengths and limitations of slide-mounted red dot systems. We’ll focus on drawing, tracking the dot, target transitions, and overcoming common optic-related challenges in dynamic shooting scenarios.

Required Gear:

  • Pistol with slide-mounted red dot sight

  • Handgun and minimum 3 magazines (5 preferred for single-stack pistols)

  • Magazine carrier to hold at least 3 magazines

  • Quality holster (no cross-draw or Serpa holsters)

  • 300 rounds of ammunition

  • Eye and ear protection (electronic hearing protection strongly recommended)

  • Lunch and water (working lunch)

  • Weather-appropriate clothing (no open-toed shoes)

Optional (but recommended):

  • Electronic hearing protection

  • Gloves

  • Sunblock

  • Extra hydration

  • Field cleaning kit

  • Basic maintenance tools

  • Additional magazines and ammunition
